Our History

The company was founded in 1987 by the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Council of Ministers of the USSR, to provide assistance in the exchange of information, sharing of experience and developing of advertising.

In 1996 the company joined the All-Russian Association of Business Alliances and Organisations, adopted the name The PROGRESS Scientific & Technical Information Centre and received its present status.

By 2004 the company was firmly entrenched as a market-leader in Russia in the field of information services.

In December 2006 a new wing was opened in the training complex. Sessions are conducted in specially-equipped facilities with a total area of 5,000m2.

By 2008 the PROGRESS Scientific & Technical Information Centre became one of the biggest training centres in Russia providing its services for specialists from different branches of industry, medicine, education, science, culture and the social sphere.

The PROGRESS Centre is the leader in the sphere of additional professional education.

Every year over 20,000 managers and specialists undertake training at PROGRESS. More than 5 000 leading companies in the modern Russian and the CIS countries' economy put their trust in PROGRESS as a centre providing highly qualified training for their staff.

Over 500 seminar programmes have been developed by the experts of the PROGRESS Centre.

Currently the PROGRESS Centre organizes and successfully conducts:

• round tables,
• corporate seminars,
• seminars abroad.

Our company continues to develop dynamically. New education and training programmes are being developed, the number of permanent clients and partners is constantly growing.
