Charity

The Progress Centre is a joint founder of two charitable organisations: Perspectives and Step Forwards. The charities aim to help children with severe disabilities.

Russia has its fair share of business people who are genuinely interested in charitable causes. Dmitrii Chudinov, the CEO of Progress, is living proof of this, from his childhood desire to help the needy, to his current direct involvement in various social projects.

Dmitrii Chudinov is a Chairman of the Perspectives Trusteeship Board. Together with the President of the charity, Margarete von der Borch, these two inspirational people invest their invaluable time and effort to the development of the charity and to helping children.

The work undertaken involves three programmes:
  • Pavlovsk – a programme helping severely disabled children from the Children’s Home No.4 in Pavlovsk.
  • Peterhof – an assistance programme for children who, once they have reached 18 years old, move from the Children’s Home No.4, to the Psychoneurological Home No.3 in Peterhof.
  • Family Support – a programme aimed at helping families with severely disabled children.

The objective of taking part in these projects is to cooperate on establishing the rights of disabled children and orphans to growth, development, communication, freedom and respect, while at the same time providing them with a stable environment in which to grow up.
